The other day, a friend of ours posted this picture on facebook and tagged a couple of us in it.  I just wanted to share it with everyone else, because I’m pretty sure this was the first Valencia show EVER.  November 28th, 2003.

It may not look like much compared to the studios we’ve recorded our first two albums in, but for what it’s worth, these monitors and, more importantly, THIS DESK, are making our demo’s sound even bigger than both of our records combined.  Desks change everything in a workspace, trust me.

If you look closely, you’ll notice his super effective earplugs doing more than their fair share of the work.  Either way, more songs have been written.  Sorry for the lack of updates this week, we’ve been hard at work.  Brendan’s getting closer and closer to putting the finishing touches on his home made studio in “the” space, and today, I learned what “tie a string around your finger” means.  Great week so far.
